This is Nitro. He was obtained from Lucillano Oliva in Sacramento, CA.
Originally, when I went for a visit and a training session with Lucillano, it was with the intent of looking at some 9 month old, promising, working male pups. When I saw Nitro's bitework and his potential, I was impressed. However, it was not until the next day, he made up my mind for me. Going out for a little walk with a choke on, he decided that I was not giving him the ball fast enough and he did not like the little pops I was giving him on the choke chain. He promptly mounted my leg and tried to love bite my stomache. LOL! Yep. He is very dominant and assertive. He will do anything to get his toy. ANYTHING. If he does not totally respect you, he will go through you to get the tug or toy. He has very high prey aggression, fight drive, and nerves of steel.
Off the field, he is a clown. Because of his stability, he is a joy to have around the house. He is very mellow and affectionate.
He will be competing in PSA (protection sport association) early 2004.
